• Aims to provide low-barrier support to LGBTQI+ grassroots, community-based organizations to provide a range of services and programs tailored to the local needs of the LGBTQI+ people in their region.

• Up to $10k for projects of up to 1 year in duration.

Waste Methane Mitigation and Circular Economy Scale-Up. Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC).
• To operationalize national and municipal measures that reduce methane from solid-waste streams and align these with circular economy goals, while supporting municipalities to move progressively from landfill-dependent disposal systems towards diversion and recovery approaches.
• NGO, intergovernmental organization (IGO), or other not-for-profit entity.
• South Africa.
• Where procurement is carried out by the Implementing Partner, as a general rule, incidental procurement may be undertaken only up to a cumulative value of 15% of the total Agreement budget or $40k, whichever is lower.

Window II – Cross-Cutting Capacity Strengthening. National Research & Innovation Fund (NRIF).
• Initiatives that build research and innovation capacity across sectors, including training programmes, mentorship schemes, and knowledge transfer activities.

• Up to ~$20,273 (GMD 1.5m) award range.

Africa Health Collaborative Research Fund 2026. Africa Health Collaborative.
• To encourage and provide initial support for the development/expansion of high-quality research activities for Early Career Researchers (ECR) enabling principal investigators to subsequently apply for funding to support the next phase of their joint research that will result in greater impact.
• Theme for this year’s grant is focused on Health Human Resources Policy and Health Financing Policy in Primary Health Care in Sub-Saharan Africa.
• Collaborative bilateral and multilateral research initiatives.
• Africa.
• Up to $22k matching funds.
• August 15, 2026.

Canvas Home Small Grants. HANDMADE to MARKET (HtoM).
• Designed to permit craft-producing groups to procure materials, tools, equipment, training, or marketing services in order for them to expand employment and generate additional income.
• Established groups of craft producers, such as cooperatives, small businesses, or community-based organizations focusing on crafts in developing.
• LMICs.
• Up to $1,500 grants.
• August 17, 2026.

The Laptop LLM Challenge. Africa Deep Tech Foundation (ADTF).
• On-Device AI for the Hardware Africa Actually Has. An applied systems engineering contest.
• Build a working on-device language-model application. Your system must run without cloud dependencies on the ADTC Standard Laptop, address one problem domain, and demonstrate at least one meaningful cross-disciplinary integration: 1) Math & Scientific Reasoning, 2) Healthcare & Medical, 3) Agriculture, 4) Creative Writing, 5) Coding Assistants, 6) Corporate / Enterprise and 7) Autonomous AI Agents.
• Early-stage builders, less than 12 months old and that your product is in the ideation, conceptual, or early prototype phase (not commercially launched). Must not have raised more than $25k in external dilutive capital or non-dilutive grants.
• Africa.
• Grand Prize: $8k cash award.
• August 25, 2026.
