• Tech-driven solutions with the potential to strengthen agricultural productivity, improve food systems, increase farmer incomes and build climate-resilient agriculture.
• Have a prototype or Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
• Particularly encourages applications from startups led by women, youth entrepreneurs, and founders working in underserved or rural communities.
• Africa.
• Structured incubation programmes alongside access to experienced mentors, entrepreneurs and sector experts.
• Applications accepted on a rolling basis.

Wildlife Emergency Fund (WEF). East Coast Zoological Foundation (ECZF).
• Conservation-based organizations that are responding to sudden, episodic, and unpredictable threats impacting wildlife. Ongoing, recurring, or long-term threats are not considered to be an immediate emergency.
• 501(c)3 non-profits (or equivalent), governmental and NGOs that focus on direct in-situ conservation action.
• All countries, except in countries or regions subject to U.S. government sanctions or restrictions.

• To support entrepreneurs to develop their business ideas by providing professional business coaching and funding to them. Two partners, consisting of a diaspora donor in Europe and an Africa-based entrepreneur – need to team up.
• All sectors (e.g. small farms, garages, shops, hairdressers). Max. 20 employees. Investment of the diaspora donor and entrepreneur  (50%).
• Entrepreneurs, micro or small business.
• Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Mali, Togo, The Gambia or Tunisia.
• Up to €5k grants.

Strategic commercial engagement for U.S.–AU Trade and Investment. Grants.Gov.
• Proposals that advance U.S. commercial diplomacy by strengthening U.S.-Africa trade and investment ties and expanding opportunities for U.S. companies in African markets. Programs must clearly support U.S. economic interest, expand opportunities for U.S. businesses, and promote U.S. best practices while delivering mutual economic benefit.
• Business associations, private-sector intermediaries, commercial institutions and other stakeholders.
• The U.S. and Africa.
• Up to $25k grant funding.
• June 8, 2026.

2026 EducationUSA Opportunity Funds. U.S. Embassy in Rwanda.
• Fosters partnerships between U.S. and Rwandan academic institutions to expand the footprint of American innovation. Empowers Rwandan high school students through specialized advising sessions to leverage life-changing academic opportunities.
• Not-for-profit organizations, including think tanks and civil society/NGOs, Public and private educational institutions, Individuals and Public International Organizations and Governmental institutions.
• The U.S. and Rwanda.
• Up to $23,350 grant funding.
• June 14, 2026.

Climate Democracy Accelerator. People Powered.
• Participatory programs that shape climate policy, with a focus on regenerative agriculture, renewable energy, and just transitions.
• 1) Renewable energy; clean energy power from nature, like solar, wind, water, to improve access to clean energy sources for communities while reducing reliance on fossil fuels and 2) Regenerative agriculture: an holistic approach to farming that restores soil health, enhances biodiversity, improves water cycles, and increases resilience to climate change while supporting socioeconomic systems such as food sustainability, local economies, and so on.
• Governmental institutions, civil society organizations, or NGOs.
• 4 priority countries (Brazil, Indonesia, India, and Mexico), with additional spots available for participants from other countries worldwide, especially in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
• $10k grant for all participants plus an additional $15k award for the top five action plans in each cohort
• June 26, 2026.

Africa Fellows in Education Program 2026/2027. Partnership for Economic Policy (PEP).
• Two-year, fully supported research fellowships for young African researchers to build expertise in education policy and evidence-based decision-making.
• Young researchers (35 or younger). Hold a Master's or PhD in a relevant field with strong quantitative focus. Be affiliated with a government, research, or higher education institution
• Sub-Saharan Africa.
• Each fellow receives a $25k research grant, plus up to $25k in covered expenses for mentorship, conference travel, and in-country workshops.
• June 30, 2026.

Educational Technology Innovation Grants 2026/2027. Kenya Education Network (Kenet).
• Educators at Kenyan universities that teach foundational courses in Engineering, Computer Science and Physics to effectively integrate AI tools into their teaching and learning processes.
• Have a PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or Physics. Have taught the proposed foundational course for at least three years at one of the member universities in Kenya.
• Kenya.
• Up to ~$15,455 (KES 2 million) grants.
• July 10, 2026.

Research Grants in Computer Science and Information Systems. Kenya Education Network (Kenet).
• Aims to strengthen institutional capacity in priority AI domains while generating insights, tools, and systems that can be adopted, adapted, and built upon by students, researchers, and other institutions.
• Two areas of focus: 1) Agentic AI Systems for real-world impact and 2) Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) for decision support.
• A PhD holder, attained within the last 5 years, and must demonstrate active research interest.

• Aimed at strengthening clinical competencies within the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of psychiatric and neurological disorders through educational activities aimed at healthcare professionals.

Henri Boulard Award Call for projects. Biocodex Microbiota Foundation.
• Local initiatives dedicated to protecting microbiota and preserving human global health. From water purification projects to health education programs, the project must address a local unmet need in the country; aims at improving populations’ global health by protecting microbiota.
• The applicant must be a health professional, application must be made on behalf of an association, a research organization, hospital or institution.
