Call for Research Grant Proposals. Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM).
• Address agroecology principles and align with African agricultural priorities: 1) Agroecological Principles, 2) Policy Advocacy, 3) The role of agroecology in food and nutrition security and 4) Gender-sensitive outreach and social inclusion in agroecological practices.

• Applied, field-based research proposals that contribute to strengthening marine conservation finance.
• Early Career Ocean Professionals (ECOPs), or currently enrolled in an ongoing Master’s or PhD programme at a recognized institution within a WIO country.
• WIO countries: Somalia, Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique, South Africa, Comoros, Madagascar, Mauritius, Seychelles and France.
• Up to $6k grants.

Become an All Good Venture. All Good Venture.
• Exclusively fund social enterprises that are people-centric, not planet-focused, enterprises that primarily serves an environmental cause are not eligible.
• Put eventual profits towards bringing freedom to people who lack equal access to one or more of life’s basic requirements: food and/or water, clothing, shelter, healthcare, education, safety, employment, or other.
• Social enterprises in the pre-seed, seed or early stages of development.

• Up to ~$11,756 ($20,000 NZD) grants alongside a year of business mentoring.

Seed Grant for New African Principal Investigators (SG-NAPI). UNESCO-The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS).
• Promising high-level research projects in Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, Earth sciences, Engineering, Information Computer Technology, Mathematics, Medical Sciences and Physics and/or Germany’s High-Tech Agenda carried out in African countries lagging in science and technology identified by TWAS.
