• Bold, curious thinkers who are excited about making a contribution to human knowledge and the well-being of our planet.
• Projects in field sciences across all disciplines, including but not limited to: 1) Biology and ecology, 2) Wildlife conservation, 3) Environmental science, 4) Archaeology and anthropology and 5) Marine and freshwater studies.

Competition for Youth-Led Projects. Integrated Drought Management Programme.
• Aims to: 1) Empower young people to design and lead practical solutions for disaster risk reduction, preparedness, and response, 2) Strengthen community resilience through projects rooted in local needs and 3) Encourage youth engagement and show the impacts youth can make in building flood and drought resilience.
• Be youth-led (students/young professionals aged 18 – 35) and demonstrate the active participation and engagement of youth of all ages below 35 in the proposed project activities.
• All countries, priority will be given to: Projects implemented in Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and Small Island Developing States (SIDSs), particularly those benefitting the most vulnerable groups.

School Leadership Research Grants - Cohort II. African Centre for School Leadership (ACSL).
• Rigorous, action-oriented research that addresses Africa’s school leadership challenges and contributes to national and continental education priorities. Researchers will work closely with policymakers, practitioners, school leaders, and implementing institutions to ensure that evidence informs policy, strengthens practice, and improves education systems.
• Cross-country collaborations and proposals addressing gender equality, disability inclusion, rural and underserved communities, and other marginalised groups are strongly encouraged.
• The Principal Investigator must hold a Doctorate in Education, Educational Leadership, Educational Management, or a closely related field, earned within the past five (5) years.
• Research teams are strongly encouraged to promote team diversity by including female researchers, young researchers (under 35 years) and researchers with different education levels (bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degrees/candidates).
