• Support individuals and groups who are working to protect animals.
• 1) Reducing the consumption of land and sea animals raised using industrial agriculture practices, 2) Advocating for farmed animal welfare and 3) Helping animals that are not usually the focus of animal welfare efforts.
• Open to individuals in all countries with a special focus on Brazil, India and Mexico
• A $1k seed grant.
• Applications accepted on a rolling basis.
Global Innovation Challenge for Zero Hunger. WFP.
• Strengthen climate change adaptation in food systems and enable greater community resilience.
• Startups, NGOs, academic institutions or government agencies.
• Must at least be at the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) stage. Proof-of-concept and initial traction is preferred.
• $100k in equity-free funding, with further funding dependent upon progress and measurable achievement of key targets.
• Presence or willingness to build a presence in one of 123 countries and territories that WFP operates in.
• Applications accepted on a rolling basis.
SanUp: Scaling Next-Generation Sanitation Enterprises. UN’s Sanitation and Hygiene Fund.
• To foster growth and sustainability of sanitation SMEs in urban Kenya and Uganda.
• A sound business model and track record, as well as real sales under your belt, and actively working in Kenya and/or Uganda.
• TA and up to $30k per enterprise in Phase 1, with the potential of financing above $50k per enterprise in Phase 2.

In-Country YouthADAPT Challenge 2025 (Africa). Global Center on Adaptation.
• Driving climate adaptation and resilience, in five countries with a focus on digital tools, green technologies, and community-driven models.
• Youth-led MSMEs and innovators.
• Business must have generated revenues over a minimum two-year period.
• Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda and Tanzania.
• Up to $30k in funding alongside a 12 month support program.

WISER Africa co-production fellowship. Met Office.
• Individuals with expertise or passion for co-production, aiming to develop them into leaders of collaborative climate services.
• Fellows will provide technical support, assist Regional Climate Centres and Meteorological Services, and engage stakeholders to co-design development priorities.

• To facilitate the implementation of activities under the International Partnership for the Satoyama Initiative (IPSI). “Satoyama” is a Japanese term representing “socio-ecological production landscapes and seascapes” or SEPLS, which are dynamic mosaics of habitats and land/sea uses providing the goods and services needed for human life while being managed to maintain biodiversity.

Connecting Indigenous Research Leadership in Canada and the Global South. IDRC.
• Indigenous organizations interested in connecting with First Nations, Métis and Inuit communities in Canada through knowledge-sharing activities.

• Supports research and educational work focused on endangered species.

Scientific call for proposals: ASA Grant 2026. Angelman Syndrome Alliance (ASA).
• Research that can help support a better understanding of Angelman Syndrome and eventually lead to new treatments tackling the genetic & molecular processes underlying the condition.
• Applicants will be responsible for ensuring all legal requirements in their countries can be met.

• Up to €120k.

Call for Applications: TCF Grant Program. Turtle Conservation Fund.
• Support pilot conservation projects focused on tortoise and freshwater turtle species listed as Critically Endangered or Endangered on the IUCN Red List.
• Will also consider proposals for species that are not currently listed but could become priority species with more information on their population status or threats.
• $5k for conservation efforts targeting high-priority species. Smaller grants of $3k or less are also available.
• Organizations or individuals from all countries.
